Carthagea reconverted hotels into residences and nursing homes for the elderly
Carthagea is a French nursing home operator with its residences based predominantly in Tunisia. This has allowed the development of an innovative concept which sees luxury hotels converted to accommodate elderly dependent people; particularly people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, etc ...) . The hotels are mixed and receive tourists as well as residents so that they are not isolated due to their disability. The residents are also accompanied 24/7 by a dedicated carer to assist them in all their activities of daily living. In order to guarantee complete transparency of treatment, each room is fitted with cameras, and families have access to a secure program allowing them to follow the residents' information in real time (vital signs, care plan, activities). This operation consists in a capital increase of Carthagea via an STO, intended for a public of qualified and professional investors. The funds will enable Carthagea to develop its business activities in Tunisia.
